app County Schools is the second largest employer in app County with more than 3,800 full-time and part-time employees, including 1,950 classroom teachers.
We are the tenth largest school district in North Carolina with more than 30,000 students, and our neighborhood schools are a great source of community pride.
Our 56 schools are accredited by AdvancED/Cognia – receiving accreditation is a recognition that signifies that all of our schools have earned the distinction of being a quality school.
While we are located in the Charlotte metropolitan region, we strive to maintain our sense of hometown and community. We like to say that we are close enough to city life, but without the hassle.

Plan to attend our job fair
Make plans to join us for the app County Schools Job Fair on Wednesday, July 16. The event will take place from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the app County Public Library, 1555 East Garrison Boulevard, appia. You will have the chance to meet with hiring representatives and learn about a variety of open positions from classroom roles to transportation and more. This is a great opportunity to start your career with app County Schools!

ECU app Assistant to app degree program
invites classified staff to join virtual informational sessions to explore the app Assistant to app program at East Carolina University. This flyer provides information about the virtual sessions along with a registration link. Programs are available in Elementary app (K-6); Special app - General or Adapted Curriculum (K-12); and Middle Grades app - Social Studies and Language Arts Concentrations (6-9).
